DESCRIPTION
Vitamin C-1000 Ascorbate Complex contains (pH neutral) magnesium, potassium and zinc ascorbate and is therefore easier to absorb. Bonusan uses a so-called deacidified form of vitamin

C for its vitamin C products. These are mineral ascorbates (vitamin C bound to minerals like magnesium, potassium and zinc) that are easy on the stomach and the teeth and are better absorbed than ascorbic acid. The vitamin C in Vitamin C-1000 Ascorbate Complex is supported

by bioflavonoids, as in its natural context. These plant antioxidants enhance the effects of vitamin C, protect vitamin C against decomposition and provide an even better absorption.

Vitamin C has an overall beneficial effect on health; it increases vitality in various ways.

Most important characteristics of Vitamin C-1000 Ascorbate Complex:

  • All used ascorbates are fully reacted; there is no ascorbic acid or inorganic material present
  • Contains only buffered vitamin C (pH-neutral) in three different forms
  • Contains no ascorbic acid, hence easy on the stomach and the teeth
  • Provides the intracellular minerals potassium, magnesium and zinc
  • Coated and easy to swallow tablets
  • Contains citrus bioflavonoids for good absorption and a better functionality

Use

Take 1 tablet daily, during or immediately after a meal. It is important to spread the intake of vitamin C evenly throughout the day in order to achieve balanced blood levels.
If more vitamin C is taken than is required, the excess vitamin C remains in the large intestine and is therefore not absorbed. Vitamin C extracts water here and might cause (osmotic) diarrhoea (achieving 'bowel tolerance'). This phenomenon disappears when the dose is lowered.

Warning

Do not take during pregnancy or when breast feeding. Interactions with regular medication and other natural health products may occur. Please consult an expert about this.
