The recommended intake of VSL#3® capsules is one to two capsules a day or as directed by your healthcare provider. Most people start with one capsule a day for two weeks and then adjust as needed.

VSL#3 capsules can be taken before or after meals. Simply swallow the capsule with water or alternatively open the capsule and stir the content into any cold, non-fizzy drink or food.

Additional Instructions:
VSL#3 contains live freeze-dried bacteria, as such it must be kept refrigerated. VSL#3 can stay outside of the fridge for up to seven days without affecting potency. After this seven day period, if VSL#3 is not refrigerated the concentration of the bacteria may begin to decrease.
