Crocus sativus extract
Saffron is one of the most expensive spices in the world which is why it is also sometimes called ‘the red gold’. In ancient times it was used because it helped to regulate female hormones. Nowadays there is considerable scientific interest in saffron. It has been found that saffron can help to support a normal mental balance. Research has shown that saffron is also good for the state of mind. For that reason, for your clients, Crocus sativus extract is an excellent alternative to St. John’s Wort.
For this product, Bonusan uses the saffron extract Satiereal™, that is produced using only the red pistils of the saffron crocus, but not the yellow stamen that are sometimes sold as saffron.
- An excellent alternative to St. John’s Wort
- Contains Satiereal™, supported by scientific research
- Standardised at minimum 0.3% safranal (1:6 extract)
- Only the red pistils of the saffron crocus
