Directions & Storage:
Directions:
Clean and dry the skin on your lower abdomen where the pads will be placed.
Peel the protective liner from the new electrode pad.
Firmly attach the pad to the contact points on your Fem-Ova device.
Position the device on your skin and begin your therapy session.
After use, disconnect the device and store the pads on their original liners.
Note: For hygiene and best performance, each pair of pads is typically reusable for multiple sessions (depending on skin type and care) before replacement is needed. Replace pads when adhesion weakens. You can apply a few drops of water to the pads after four or five uses to rehydrate the pads.
To use a TENS machine safely, always turn the device off before applying or removing sticky pads, ensure a strong but comfortable tingling sensation without pain, and never place electrodes on the neck, chest, head, or broken skin.
Setup and Application
- Clean skin: Wash and dry the skin area before placing the pads.
- Position pads: Place pads around the painful area at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) apart.
- Pads must never touch each other.
- Adjust intensity: Turn on the machine and slowly raise the dial until you feel a firm, comfortable tingle or buzz. It should never hurt or cause strong muscle jerking.
- Session length: Use for 30 to 60 minutes at a time, several times a day. Turn the unit off before removing the pads.
Safety Warnings and Restrictions
- Never use on: The front of the neck, eyes, head, heart, chest, or across both sides of the torso simultaneously.
- Skin condition: Avoid broken, swollen, infected, or numb skin.
