DESCRIPTION
Lactoferrin can bind with iron and thus regulates the iron content of the blood. It stimulates and supports the immune system and increases the resistance against pathogenic bacteria and fungi. The highest concentration of lactoferrin is found in breast milk, especially in the breast milk that is given in the first 24 hours following birth (colostrum). Lactoferrin can be found in the iron-free form (apolactoferrin) or in the iron-saturated form (hololactoferrin). Because the iron-binding properties of lactoferrin are essential for its mechanism, the iron-free form (apolactoferrin) is the most effective.
Most important features of Apolactoferrin 150 mg:
- Contains pure apolactoferrin, iron-free
- Produced from whey using advanced filtering techniques
- 150 mg per capsule, hence flexibility in dosage
- Small, easy to swallow capsules
USAGE
Take 2 capsules a day, during or immediately after a meal. Preferably spread your intake evenly throughout the day.
Capsule may be opened if experiencing difficulties with swallowing.
